The Efficiency Council represents the perspectives and experiences of the California energy efficiency industry in policy forums throughout California and at the national level. The Efficiency Council strives to develop fact-based positions that are the result of a broad consensus among members and consistent with our organization’s mission.  Forums in which the Efficiency Council provides an expert voice for the efficiency industry include the California state legislature, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), and the California Energy Commission (CEC), as well as other state and federal policy forums related to energy efficiency. As appropriate, the Efficiency Council submits formal testimony, comment letters and regulatory filings, all crafted with member input and approved by the Efficiency Council Board of Directors.
